How do I find someone who can do a Welcome To Country in my area?

The below information is meant to be a starting point for you to identify and connect with Traditional Custodians in your area. It is not a comprehensive list, and may be updated from time to time.

It is important that you check whose country your meeting/event is being held.

New South Wales

There are about 120 Local Aboriginal Land Councils (LALCs) across New South Wales. NSW Aboriginal Land Council (NSWALC) has a handy interactive page to help you find your LALC.

Queensland

There are five Native Title Representative Bodies in Queensland.

They are:

Victoria

Aboriginal Victoria

ACT

United Ngunnawal Elders Council (UNEC)

South Australia

First Nations South Australia Aboriginal Corporation

Northern Territory

There are four land councils in the NT.

Western Australia
